This Degree Course aims to form the necessary knowledge and skills in order to operate in all of the fields of media and communication (promotion, advertising and sponsorships) with regard to: information selection, presentation and management; interpretation and valorization of the cultural-historical and artistic-cultural processes and materials; information management and presentation with regard to historical-cultural traditions; promotion of artistic-cultural manifestations; valorization of cultural-historical materials of firms and institutions.
Graduates in Humanities and Communication Studies will have competences to operate inside advertising agencies, to take care of the internal communication instruments, the websites and the newsletters in press offices. They will have the skills to start a creative career in the fields of culture: cultural event planning and realization, diffusion and coordination of fittings and connection of technical and creative aspects. They will be provided with knowledge concerning the structure of natural languages, language production and understanding, and its use in the communication, also in the perspective of linguistic education.
Communicative linguistic tools are also essential in activating new social communication policies and communication initiatives in the territory, in developing processes improving the transparency of administrative procedures and of citizen participation (public relations), in building networks in order to interact with public and private different institutional levels.
